Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately entering customer and account data from source documents, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Performing data entry and management using Excel and other software, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies.
  • Transferring information from paper formats into digital files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners, adapting to new methods and techniques.
  • Conducting high-volume data entry utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Organizing, collating, and capturing data into digital databases, ensuring seamless data flow and minimizing errors.
  • Compiling and verifying the accuracy of information, preparing source data for entry, and maintaining data integrity.
  • Utilizing computer fundamentals and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) effectively, staying proficient in industry-standard software.
  • Gathering and entering data from various websites and sources into designated templates, adapting to new sources and formats.
  • Providing support to the Sales and Marketing teams as needed, demonstrating a customer-centric approach.
  • Undertaking any additional tasks assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in data entry and management.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a related field, with a track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong typing skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software, with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, with a strong sense of self-motivation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers.
  • Previous experience in eye care or healthcare data entry is a plus, but not required.
