Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team at careerzynith. As a key member of our Applied AI group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the data-driven product development culture for our consumer products or designer platform at careerzynith. You will be responsible for defining our north-star metrics, planning our initial A/B tests, and establishing source-of-truth dashboards that the entire organization can use to answer their own product questions. In particular, you will be a core member of the product development team building our first-party offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the product development team as a trusted partner, uncovering better ways to improve the product and drive growth.
- Define and interpret A/B tests that help answer fundamental questions about the impact of model and UX changes to our product.
- Establish a data-driven product development culture by driving the definition, tracking, and operationalizing of feature, product, and organization-level metrics.
- Create and integrate dashboards, reports, and other tools to empower the team and organization to answer product data questions in a self-serve way.
Essential Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role exploring highly ambiguous conditions, preferably as an early data researcher or product analyst at a hyper-growth product organization or research institution.
- Designed, planned, and executed thorough tests with clear insights and product recommendations using SQL and Python.
- Defined, implemented, and operationalized new feature and product-level metrics from scratch.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact with product managers, engineers, and executives alike.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Demonstrated knowledge in NLP, large language models, or generative artificial intelligence.
- Strong programming foundation, with ability to run simulations and model variations.
- Experience validating quantitative insights with qualitative methods (e.g., surveys, UXR).
