Work from Home – Experienced Corporate Events & Group Sales Manager

Vintage Villas Hotel & Events, a local family owned boutique 44-room hotel and event venue in the beautiful Lake Travis area, is seeking an experienced and driven Work from Home Sales Manager to grow our corporate events, group lodging, meetings, retreats, and catering business. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality sales professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and exceeding revenue goals. Position Overview This is a highly sales-focused role responsible for securing mid-week corporate events, retreats, meetings, and group bookings. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-oriented, and experienced in outside sales within the Austin hospitality market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities for group rooms, meetings, retreats, catering, and events
  • Prospect and develop corporate accounts through networking, cold calling, referrals, sales calls, tours, and industry events
  • Focus on mid-week event and group sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Utilize creative sales strategies and leverage the hotel’s established vendor network to drive revenue
  • Conduct on-site and off-site client meetings, property tours, and presentations
  • Negotiate room rates and event contracts to maximize profitability and hotel performance
  • Maintain accurate sales activity reporting and pipeline management
  • Represent the hotel with professionalism, integrity, and a guest-focused attitude
  • Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure exceptional client experiences
  • Participate in community organizations, trade associations, and local industry events that support hotel visibility and growth

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hospitality corporate sales experience in the Austin market
  • Proven success in hotel group sales, corporate events, meetings, weddings, or related hospitality sales
  • Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, relationship management, and closing sales
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and results-driven
  • Ability to attend networking events, trade shows, and client meetings both on-site and off-site
  • Knowledge of the Austin hospitality and corporate market required
  • Hospitality degree or related college degree preferred

Position Details

  • Commission-based compensation
