Verifications Specialist

Yardstik is a start-up software company focused on building trust and safety in the Internet Economy. They are seeking a Verifications Specialist I to process background checks and verify credentials, requiring attention to detail and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify data submitted for background screens while maintaining a high level of quality and productivity
• Carefully manage confidential and sensitive information daily with multiple computer systems, following all protocols for compliance
• Meet assigned objectives, goals and quality standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the business

Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of employment experience as an individual contributor especially if it is in an Operations or Support Department
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment
• Steadfast focus with the ability to juggle competing demands
• Ability to utilize multiple computer systems to access information
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents to support investigation using critical thinking
• Strong communication and follow up skills
• High attention to detail
• Experience in the background check industry is a plus but not required
• Experience with Court Calling/Records, Disputes and CRAs is especially desired
• At least 1 year of college is preferred, but not required
