Vapi AI Voice Agent Prompt Engineer Needed (Outbound Roofing Calls) - Contract to Hire
We are looking for someone with REAL experience building and optimizing AI voice agents using Vapi. This is NOT a generic copywriting role. We already have a working outbound AI calling system built with: Vapi Twilio n8n Google Sheets Our company is a roofing and storm restoration company in Dallas-Fort Worth, and we are looking for help creating and refining outbound AI call scripts/prompts that sound natural and convert into booked inspections. What we need help with: Writing/refining Vapi system prompts Outbound conversation flow Objection handling Natural sounding AI responses Voicemail handling Sentiment handling Appointment-setting flow Reducing robotic sounding responses Improving real-world call performance You MUST understand: Vapi prompt engineering Conversational AI AI voice pacing and interruption handling Outbound appointment setting Real-world AI call flow behavior Bonus if you have experience with: Roofing Home services Storm restoration Cold outbound AI calling Retell AI GoHighLevel Please include ALL of the following in your proposal: Examples of Vapi or Retell prompts/scripts you’ve written Industries you’ve built AI voice agents for Any outbound AI calling experience Loom/demo/examples if available Your role in the projects you share IMPORTANT: We are NOT looking for generic sales copywriters or chatbot builders.
