Great American’s Mergers & Acquisitions Liability Division underwrites primary and excess Representations & Warranties (R&W) Insurance, Tax Indemnity Insurance and Tax Credit Insurance. This division handles policies of up to $50 million in limits. http://www.greatamericaninsurancegroup.com/about-us/business-operations/division/mergers-acquisitions-liability The M&A Division of Great American is currently recruiting an Underwriting Analyst to join our team. The person in this role will assist the mergers and acquisitions liability division in underwriting representations and warranties insurance. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Assist in underwriting Representations & Warranties insurance policies. Participate in internal underwriting calls with M&A deal team. Manage submissions, quotes, binders and policy issuance, with proper supervision and approvals. Assist in maintenance of electronic files, including policy checklist spreadsheet tracking key policy and underwriting documents. Draft excess policies. Client correspondence, including responding to broker inquiries on tight deadlines. Work may be required outside of ordinary business hours. Job Requirements Must have a Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal degree/certification. Experience with financial statements, taxes and legal documents preferred. Knowledgeable about current business and legal risks. Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Business Unit: Mergers & Acquisitions Salary Range: $110,000.00 -$140,000.00 Benefits: We offer competitive benefits packages for full-time and part-time employees*.
