Technical Project Manager with Active Directory
Title: Technical Project Manager – Active Directory (AD) Location: Remote/Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX Duration: 6-12+ months Notes: 6+ months contract remote, but working first week in Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL. Contract Description:
- Lead and oversee projects involving Active Directory implementations, upgrades, and migrations across the enterprise.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, security, and application teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies while ensuring on-time and on-budget execution.
- Ensure security compliance and adherence to identity, access management, and organizational policies within Active Directory environments.
- Optimize and enhance directory services and DNS to improve system performance, reliability, and overall organizational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager supporting identity and access management initiatives.
- Strong hands-on Active Directory expertise, including architecture, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Solid knowledge of DNS, including configuration, integration, and dependency management with Active Directory.
- Experience leading AD implementations and migrations in complex enterprise environments.
- Must be able to work onsite the first week in either Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL.
