Tax Technology Consulting Manager (Remote)
Tax Automation and Software Implementation Consultant Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote) Rate: $75+ per Hour (dependent on level & experience) Duration: 3+ months Roles: SAP and Vertex Implementation Experience with 5+ years' experience We are working on an Vertex based consulting project, and are in search of people with the following skills / experience / titles:
- 5-10 years of direct implementation experience with engines such as Vertex, One Source and Taxware
- Experience with major ERP solutions including SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft and/or JD Edwards
- Global implementation experience is a bonus
- Experience writing project documentation for tax engine implementation including Requirements, Design, and Test Plans

- Serve as the Project Manager on assigned third-party tax software implementations (Vertex, Thomson Reuters, ADP, Billsoft) and custom software development projects.
- Manage assigned system integration projects that involve major ERP and billing systems, such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, etc.
- Requirements analysis and design for indirect tax software implementations.
- Manage programming for custom system interfaces and modification of preexisting interfaces.
- Manage testing and support of assigned system go-live projects.
- Develop and deliver key project documentation including requirements documents, design documents, and test plans
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS)
- 5+ years SAP implementation or optimization experience
- Previous experience and ability to gather business requirements and effectively implement an ERP solution
