Supervisor, Import/Export Coordination

Supervise the team responsible for ensuring products arrive to the correct locations timely as well as the accurate filing of Customer Profile entries. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise, train, provide performance feedback, and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness Work with customers directly to manage escalations Manage, monitor, and maintain records on required documents; and resolve all issues to obtain customs clearance Understand customer’s business, requirements, and rate structure; issue invoices for services rendered and accrue costs in system Support internal/customer metrics ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Make recommendations to continuously improve processes and team efficiency MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES) 5 years’ import/export or logistics management environment experience Demonstrated supervisory skills with emphasis on guiding and developing a team, communications, and planning Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers Ability to think strategically with supporting analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity Excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast-paces, highly visible, and changing environment Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, autonomy, and initiative without daily interaction with management Why Lineage?
