Spanish Transcriptionists (LATAM – Colombia/Mexico/Puerto Rico Preferred) Remote

About the Role

We are seeking skilled and culturally competent Spanish Transcriptionists to join our growing remote team. The ideal candidate will provide accurate Spanish-to-English audio transcription services while ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural understanding across different Spanish dialects. We are particularly interested in candidates familiar with:

  • Colombian Spanish
  • Mexican Spanish
  • Puerto Rican Spanish
  • Caribbean and Central American Spanish dialects

This role supports a variety of projects across industries including legal, healthcare, social services, and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe and/or translate Spanish audio content into English
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all assignments
  • Review transcripts for grammar, consistency, and accuracy
  • Collaborate with project managers and linguists to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Adapt to different regional accents, slang, and dialect variations

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
  • Experience with audio transcription and/or translation preferred
  • Strong understanding of regional Spanish dialects and colloquial speech
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous transcription experience
  • Familiarity with Caribbean and LATAM Spanish accents
  • Experience working with remote language service teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
