Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technical entities to define business requirements
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate storage solutions with various systems and applications.
  • Deliver technical support and guidance to address and resolve storage-related issues
  • Provides day-to-day support of the storage infrastructure including storage provisioning, storage reclamation, and zoning activities
  • Manage ticket queues and provide storage services to address customer’s needs
  • Review performance health of servers, storage arrays, and SAN switches
  • Participate in array and SAN switch microcode upgrades
  • Participate in Storage array and SAN switch PLM activities
  • Analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities
  • Maintain detailed documentation of storage configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT or related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a large complex computing environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Brocade DCX SAN Directors and toolsets
  • 2+ years of experience with Infinidat storage arrays and toolsets
  • 2+ years of experience in analyzing and optimizing storge performance to resolve technical issues
  • 2+ years of experience of storage operational activities (zoning, masking, and mapping)
  • 2+ years of experience with managing a Fiber channel and iSCSI SAN

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ years of one or more of the following Operating Systems: (VMware, Windows, AIX, and Linux)
  • Good understanding of one or more of the following Operating Systems: (VMware, Windows, AIX, and Linux)
  • Project management skills and the ability to multi-task complex, highly visible efforts concurrently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
