Senior E-Discovery Paralegal - Remote

Our client, a prestigious national law firm with a cutting-edge approach to legal services, is seeking a highly proficient Senior E-Discovery Paralegal to join their fully remote legal support team. This role offers the convenience of working from home anywhere in the United States, while providing essential support to legal teams handling complex litigation and regulatory matters, particularly those involving clients and cases connected to the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US jurisdiction. As a Senior E-Discovery Paralegal, you will be at the forefront of managing the electronic discovery process. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire E-discovery lifecycle, from identification and preservation of electronically stored information (ESI) to collection, processing, review, and production. You will leverage advanced E-discovery platforms and tools to manage large datasets, ensure data integrity, and assist attorneys in developing effective discovery strategies. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of legal technology and discovery protocols. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate all aspects of the E-discovery process in accordance with legal holds and discovery orders. Utilize E-discovery software (e.g., Relativity, Nuix, Concordance) for processing, organizing, and analyzing ESI. Assist in the identification and preservation of relevant electronically stored information (ESI). Perform quality control checks on collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Work closely with IT personnel and vendors for data collection and forensic imaging. Prepare ESI for attorney review, including redaction and metadata extraction. Assist in the creation of privilege logs and responsive document sets. Support attorneys during depositions and at trial by providing ESI evidence. Stay current with evolving E-discovery laws, rules, and best practices. Train and mentor junior paralegals and legal support staff on E-discovery procedures. Develop and maintain E-discovery protocols and best practices documentation. Troubleshoot issues related to ESI processing and review platforms. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience specifically in E-discovery and litigation support. Demonstrated expertise with leading E-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Exterro, Kcura). Thorough understanding of the E-discovery Reference Model (EDRM). Proficiency in data processing, culling, and filtering techniques. Strong knowledge of legal hold procedures and preservation requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting. Relevant certifications (e.g., Relativity Certified Administrator) are a plus. Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
