Respiratory Therapist, Supervisor - Adult

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist Supervisor to join our team and oversee the adult respiratory therapy department. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our patients by providing top-notch respiratory care and leading a team of dedicated therapists. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for patient care, and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Join us in our mission to improve the health and well-being of our community. Oversee the daily operations of the adult respiratory therapy department. Manage and lead a team of respiratory therapists, providing guidance and support as needed. Ensure that all respiratory therapy procedures and treatments are performed in accordance with established protocols and standards. Monitor patient care and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Participate in the hiring and training of new respiratory therapists, ensuring that they are properly trained and able to provide high-quality care. Create and maintain schedules for respiratory therapy staff, ensuring adequate coverage at all times. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in respiratory therapy, and implement them into the department as appropriate. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all respiratory therapy procedures and treatments. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Act as a liaison between the respiratory therapy department and other departments within the hospital. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner. Manage the department budget and resources effectively. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to respiratory therapy staff. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment within the respiratory therapy department.
