[Remote] Talent Orientation Coordinator

The Talent Orientation Coordinator will manage and maintain orientation programs for campus and experienced hires, ensuring an exceptional onboarding experience through collaboration with various teams and continuous program evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and Maintain Forvis Mazars Orientation for Campus and Experienced hires
  • Manage National Intern and Campus New Hire Welcome Experience 4 times per year in January, May, July and October and support and influence local office welcome experience efforts
  • Welcome Experiences are 2-day, blended in-person and group-virtual learning events to orient interns (January and May) and new campus associates (July and October) to Forvis Mazars offices in advance of their technical training events the following weeks. Talent Orientation Coordinator responsibilities for these events include:
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration with key stakeholders across various teams, primarily campus recruiting, learning, HR and FTS
  • Coordinate content, facilitators, schedule and zoom link logistics for a two-day national live webinar broadcast with breakouts by service line
  • Orient ~80 local contacts to their welcoming/hosting responsibilities for the two-day event
  • Develop and execute a targeted communication plan and materials designed keep these contacts informed in preparation for and during the events
  • Emcee virtual sessions of the Welcome Experience events
  • Be on site for each iteration of the event, rotating to an office location that needs support
  • Continually improve the Welcome Experience implementing stakeholder and participant feedback
  • Maintain a board of advisors to guide orientation - meet regularly
  • Maintain up to date content for weekly orientation that covers company culture, policies, procedures, benefits, job expectations, and relevant training modules
  • Serve as a regular cohost for employee orientation in a virtual environment
  • Maintain orientation hosting schedule and keep facilitators informed and up to date on current content
  • Report quarterly or more frequently regarding new hire survey metrics and themes
  • Managing orientation logistics:
  • Scheduling sessions, assigning facilitators, coordinating room bookings, and preparing necessary materials like presentations, handbooks, and welcome packets
  • Working with different departments within the organization to gather relevant information for orientation content and to ensure a cohesive orientation and onboarding experience
  • Gathering feedback from new hires through approved, established employee listening channels and surveys, working with PEO leader to make recommendations to share with appropriate department leaders based on feedback received
  • Tracking key metrics to assess the effectiveness of the orientation program and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensuring that orientation programs adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational, time management and project management skills to ensure maximum productivity and contribution
  • Strong political savvy and ability to build productive collaborative relationships across multiple key stakeholders across our matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • SHRM or Equivalent HR Certification
  • Experience analyzing large data sets, creating digital dashboards and/or data visualizations
