[Remote] Sr. Software Development Engineer

They are seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer to design and develop digital software applications, focusing on user needs, technical design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements
• Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation
• Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing
• Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
• Mentor junior team members

Skills

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
• Five (5) years of experience with Typescript or object-oriented JavaScript
• Five (5) years of experience with XML, JSON, HTML, or CSS
• Five (5) years of experience with Angular, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone
• Five (5) years of experience with C#, MVC, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework
• Five (5) years of experience with PL/SQL
• Five (5) years of experience with SSIS
• Five (5) years of experience with GitHub or TFS
• Five (5) years of experience with application design and analysis of legacy systems
• Five (5) years of experience with development and testing projects
• Five (5) years of experience with migration for applications
