[Remote] Senior Devops Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vonage is a global cloud communications leader, and they are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to innovate cloud communications for businesses worldwide. The role involves working with various cloud technologies, managing container technologies, and developing automation workflows to support compliance and integration of IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Work with Cloud technologies, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Route53, Identity and Access Management (IAM), S3, Lambda, Application Programming Interface (API) Gateway, CloudFormation, Application Load Balancer (ALB), Virtual Private Clouds (VPC), CloudWatch, Elastic Container Service (ECS) and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and auto-scaling
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, including AWS CloudFormation and Terraform, as well as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
- Manage container technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker
- Administrate corporate applications, including GitHub, Okta, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Netskope, Active Directory, and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Work with the evaluation, proof of concept, solution and design, development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of on-premises and Cloud-based applications
- Perform metrics gathering and health monitoring of applications and systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS) CloudWatch and Elasticsearch
- Develop automation workflows and scripts for integrating multiple IT systems, using Python and PowerShell
- Develop automation and processes to support IAM compliance relating to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and other regulatory requirements
- Work with AWS Cloud, including VPC, Route53, IAM, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, ALB, VPCs, CloudWatch, ECS and EKS, and auto-scaling; IaC technologies, including AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins; developing automation workflows and scripts for integrating multiple IT systems, using Python and PowerShell; and IAM compliance
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study
- Five (5) years of experience with AWS Cloud, including VPC, Route53, IAM, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, ALB, VPCs, CloudWatch, ECS and EKS, and auto-scaling
- Experience with IaC technologies, including AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
- Experience developing automation workflows and scripts for integrating multiple IT systems, using Python and PowerShell
- Experience with IAM compliance
