[Remote] Project Manager 5 (IT)

They are seeking a skilled Engineering IT Project Manager to implement and maintain Agile methodologies within engineering IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for project-related communication with stakeholders and requestors
• Work with requestors to convert new requests into a project initiation A3
• Foster collaboration and effective teamwork among engineers, IT specialists, and other stakeholders
• Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project progress and changes
• Collaborate with the IT Product Owner to maintain a portfolio of projects using the principles of demand management, agile WIP controls, and a structured and visible project prioritization approach
• Collaborate with the project team to define project goals, scope, and deliverables
• Monitor and report project progress, addressing any issues or risks proactively
• Remove any obstacles or impediments that are inhibiting progress or impacting team performance
• Maintain project budget and resource tracking
• Facilitate Scrum events (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)

Skills

• Strong background in engineering and IT, with an awareness of how product engineering works
• Solid knowledge of Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban
• Excellent facilitation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Agile project management tools and software
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certifications highly desirable
• Proven experience as a ScrumMaster or Agile Project Manager, preferably within an engineering or IT context is also highly desirable
