The Instructional Designer will create engaging learning and assessment content, manage projects independently, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging learning and assessment resources across digital and blended formats
Translate complex content into clear, learner-friendly experiences
Build interactive eLearning using tools like Articulate, H5P, and HTML5
Collaborate with SMEs, academic teams, and stakeholders across a remote environment
Use AI tools to enhance efficiency and quality of content creation
Analyse learner data and feedback to continuously improve learning experiences
Own and manage projects end-to-end and support broader team goals

Skills

5+ years' experience in instructional or learning design
Proven ability to work remotely and manage your own workload
Strong content writing skills - able to simplify complex information
Experience with eLearning tools (Articulate, Rise, Storyline, H5P or similar)
Digitally advanced - confident using advanced features across authoring tools and LMS platforms (e.g. Moodle or similar)
Keeps up to date with emerging ed-tech trends and tools, bringing new ideas into the team
Experience using or introducing innovative technology (including AI) to enhance learning experiences
Graphic design capability or strong visual design skills
Experience or exposure to HTML5 (desirable)
