[Remote] Information Security Analyst I
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking an Information Security Analyst I to monitor and address information security alerts while working with customers to resolve reported issues. The role involves conducting security training, improving processes, and contributing to the development of information security policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and addressing information security alerts
- Working with customers to resolve reported issues
- Participating in efforts to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Conducting security training and awareness campaigns
- Reporting on results
- Conducting remedial training
- Contributing to information security policy and standards as they are developed and maintained
- Providing continuing education to others regarding information security best practices
Skills
- 3 years of combined education and experience in computing and information security
- Basic knowledge of security events and alert response activities
- Ability to self-organize, prioritize tasks, and find creative solutions
- Strong communication skills while troubleshooting with end-users and collaborating with peers
- General knowledge of desktop, server, application, database, network, and security roles
- Demonstrate baseline knowledge of security concepts
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Certifications from any of the following: ITIL, ISACA, CompTIA, EC-Council, Azure Security, AWS Security, Cisco, (ISC)², GIAC
