[Remote] Business Development Representative

Captivea is a global ERP and digital transformation consulting firm specializing in Odoo implementations and business process optimization. They are seeking a driven Business Development Representative to expand their presence across Texas and South Florida, focusing on building relationships and generating new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Attend networking events, trade shows, chamber of commerce meetings, and industry events
- Develop relationships with business owners, executives, and operational leaders
- Expand Captivea’s visibility and reputation within your regional market
- Build and maintain a strong professional network that generates business opportunities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Understand client operational challenges and business goals
- Present tailored Odoo ERP solutions aligned with customer needs
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
- Collaborate with internal solution and delivery teams throughout the sales process
- Act as a brand ambassador locally and internationally
- Build long-term partnerships based on trust and responsiveness
- Support companies in their digital transformation journey
- Stay informed on market trends and evolving business challenges
Skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Interest in networking, consultative sales, and business development
- Ability to engage confidently with business leaders and executives
- Based in Texas or Miami with familiarity with the local business community
- Prior B2B sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Associate degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Interest in technology, SaaS, ERP systems, or business operations
- Existing professional network is a plus, or the ability to build one quickly
