[Remote] Artificial Intelligence Engineer

They are seeking a founding-level AI Engineer to build and improve AI systems that can autonomously generate investment insights and reason through complex financial questions.
Responsibilities
- Agent orchestration and multi-step reasoning workflows
- AI systems that write, execute, and evaluate code
- Evaluation loops, traceability, and system reliability
- Knowledge retrieval and iterative learning systems
- Production AI infrastructure supporting rapid experimentation
- Improving intelligence, reasoning quality, and user outcomes
Skills
- Strong Python engineering experience building production systems
- Experience owning projects end-to-end, from architecture through deployment
- A track record of shipping quickly in ambiguous environments
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to improve complex systems holistically
- Experience working with modern AI tooling and development workflows
- High agency and the ability to operate with minimal oversight
- Experience working at early-stage startups
