Responsibilities: Provide remote agronomic consulting and technical support to farmers and agricultural businesses. Analyze data from various sources, including satellite imagery, soil sensors, weather stations, and farm management software, to develop customized crop management plans. Develop recommendations for planting, fertilization, irrigation, and pest management based on data-driven insights and agronomic principles. Assist clients in the implementation and utilization of precision agriculture technologies, such as variable rate application, GPS guidance, and drone technology. Monitor crop health and identify potential issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Conduct virtual field assessments and provide guidance on soil sampling and testing protocols. Develop educational materials and conduct online training sessions for clients on best practices in agronomy and precision agriculture. Collaborate with internal teams, including data scientists and software developers, to enhance platform capabilities and reporting tools. Stay current with the latest research, technologies, and trends in agronomy, crop science, and sustainable farming practices. Maintain detailed client records and track the impact of implemented recommendations on crop performance and resource efficiency. Champion the adoption of data-driven decision-making in agriculture.
