[Remote] 3E Elite Accounting Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Morae is seeking an experienced 3E Elite Accounting Consultant with a strong background in legal accounting and finance operations. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert for the Elite 3E platform, managing daily accounting and financial operations, and collaborating with various teams to enhance system effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary functional expert for the Elite 3E system
- Manage, support, and optimize daily accounting and financial operations within Elite 3E
- Configure and maintain financial workflows, billing processes, client accounting structures, and reporting functions
- Work closely with Accounting, Finance, Billing, Collections, and Practice Management teams to ensure system effectiveness
- Analyze and troubleshoot accounting, billing, and financial process issues within Elite 3E
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial activities
- Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and process improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and operational reporting
- Provide user training and guidance on Elite 3E functionality and best practices
- Collaborate with technical teams when required while serving as the functional business lead
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with the Elite 3E platform
- Strong understanding of legal accounting principles and law firm financial operations
- Proven experience operating, managing, and supporting Elite 3E in a legal environment
- Deep knowledge of: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing and E-Billing, Trust Accounting, Matter Management, Revenue Recognition, Financial Reporting, Month-End and Year-End Close Processes
- Ability to translate accounting and business requirements into effective system solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working directly with finance and accounting stakeholders
- Prior experience working within a law firm or legal services environment
- Experience with Elite 3E implementations, upgrades, or system migrations
- Knowledge of legal billing platforms and e-billing systems
- Familiarity with financial reporting and business intelligence tools
- Accounting degree, Finance degree, CPA, or equivalent financial qualification preferred
