Currently, we are hiring for the following position; Job Title: Product Owner – Immigration Systems

Overview

We are seeking a Product Owner with experience in the immigration and/or staffing domain to support the implementation and expansion of J1FFY, a SaaS-based immigration management system for one of client based in NYC. This role requires a strong blend of product management expertise, domain understanding of visa processes, and the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Product Owner for J1FFY implementation and ongoing enhancements
  • Own and manage the product backlog in Jira, including prioritization and grooming
  • Gather and translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with engineering, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful system integrations
  • Drive functional design discussions related to immigration workflows, visa processing, and compliance requirements
  • Support UAT, releases, and rollout activities for new features and system updates
  • Serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment on product goals
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid understanding of product management fundamentals, including:
  • Jira
  • Backlog management
  • Requirements gathering and prioritization
  • Experience working with technical teams on system integrations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the immigration industry, particularly with visa processes and workflows
  • OR strong experience in the staffing industry (sufficient to build domain context quickly)
  • Familiarity with J1FFY (SaaS immigration management system) is a strong plus
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS implementations or platform rollouts

  • Location: Must be available to work in the Eastern Time Zone
  • Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
