Pharmacy Technician Compensation $22.00 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service on eligibility dates Pharmacy Technician Highlights Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Schedule: Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–7:00 PM CT (occasional Saturdays 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT ) Training (on-site) Week 1: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT Week 2: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CT Training is on-site daily for approximately 2–3 months After training, role becomes hybrid ( 2 days onsite / 3 days remote ) Candidate should live within a reasonable driving distance of the worksite OVERVIEW : support pharmacists by accurately preparing and processing prescriptions, handling insurance and data entry tasks, assisting customers, and helping maintain efficient daily pharmacy operations in a hybrid work environment. Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities Provide support to pharmacists in filling prescriptions for patients Prepare and package medications accurately and efficiently Count, pour, weigh, and label medications Fill and refill prescriptions according to doctors’ orders Process insurance claims and collect payment information Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns Maintain organized records of prescriptions filled and dispensed Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient care Perform data entry accurately and consistently Pharmacy Technician Requirements High School Diploma / GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience Must be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) and in good standing Must have current PTCB or NHA CPhT certification/license in good standing Strong data entry skills and attention to detail Ability to come onsite daily on time during training; reliable attendance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program approved by the State Board of Pharmacy Retail pharmacy or healthcare setting experience Prior experience in a prescription processing/production environment If you think this Pharmacy Technician position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!
