Position Description: We are looking for a motivated, top-notch Payment Posting Specialist I who wants to be a part of a stellar team and deliver exceptional results. We will train on specific task items listed below, although the right fit will quickly and easily pick up responsibilities and manage them on their own. Job Title: Payment Posting Specialist I Department: Payment Posting Reports to: Director of Payment Posting & Revenue Cycle Duties & Responsibilities: Posting ERA/Manual payments Reviewing and applying contractual payor adjustments Great attitude and ability to work autonomously Prioritizes and completes all work in an accurate, effective and efficient manner Performs detailed follow-up activities on assigned accounts according to procedures Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed Enjoys being a team player Great at using Excel and Word Experience with Central Reach and Office Ally a plus Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of previous job experience in Payment Posting Strong understanding of medical billing processes and insurance claims. Proficiency in Central Reach, Sales Force, and the Google suite of products. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws. Critical Traits: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.. Experience working both in and out of network environments is a plus. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and orally.
