Landscape Architect
AECOM is a global infrastructure consulting firm dedicated to delivering a better world. They are seeking a Landscape Architect to play an active role in the design process, assist in graphic design and technical drawings, and collaborate with project team members across various disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Play an active role in the design process from concept through construction
- Assist in the preparation of graphic design and technical drawings
- Collaborate with project team members across disciplines
- Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may independently perform technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets
Skills
- Landscape Architecture degree (BLA/BSLA/MLA) from an LAAB accredited institution and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience or education
- Relevant professional Landscape Architecture experience
- Actively pursuing licensure
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent graphic, verbal, and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to proactively solve challenges
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, hand drawing
- Proficiency in 3D modeling (Rhino3D)
- Desire and ability to integrate seamlessly into both landscape architecture and multi-disciplinary design teams
- Collaborate with project team members across disciplines
- LEED GA/AP, SITES AP, or ENV SP credentials
- Familiarity with Southern California native and climate-appropriate plant communities
- Experience preparing construction documents
- Experience with advanced modeling and analysis software (e.g. Revit, Grasshopper3D, ArcGIS)
- Experience with advanced visualization software and plugins (e.g. Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray)
