Description of the role The Care Scheduler / Administrator position at Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley offers an exciting opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home in Vermont. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing care services for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Use software scheduling program to efficiently schedule the complex week to week calendar for caregivers
  • Coordinate care services, ensuring the needs of all clients are met
  • Communicate effectively with clients and caregivers to ensure smooth and effective care management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of care services
  • Handle any client concerns or issues with professionalism and empathy
  • Answer calls and texts promptly and courteously in a professional manner.
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with clients and colleagues while working remotely from home.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in care coordination or scheduling is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using computer software and systems
  • Ability to work independently and proactively problem-solve
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature towards clients and their families
