We’re looking for a Home-Based Accounting Assistant to join our DCX team. In this role, you will oversee invoice processing and payments, manage vendor relationships, maintain accurate financial records, and support accounts payable operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of financial data while contributing to the success of our partner’s business operations. Analytical Problem-Solver: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify discrepancies and implement effective solutions. Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting regulations, procedures, and accounts payable best practices. WHAT YOU WILL DO Invoice Processing: Reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices for payment. Vendor Management: Maintaining relationships with suppliers, resolving payment discrepancies, and handling vendor inquiries. Expense Reconciliation: Reconciling invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure accuracy. Payment Processing: Initiating and coordinating payments to vendors, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments. Financial Reporting: Preparing reports on accounts payable activities, including outstanding balances, cash flow projections, and aging reports. Expense Tracking: Monitoring and controlling company expenses by evaluating payment terms and negotiating discounts with vendors. Problem Resolution: Identifying and resolving issues related to accounts payable, such as disputes, late payments, or missing documentation. Ad hoc tasks aligned with those mentioned above. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years of General Accounting experience or equivalent. Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours. Technical Skills: Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software. Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc. Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant software.
