GIS Specialist/Analyst
Title GIS Analyst (5 7 Years) Job ID 26-02600 Location 100% Remote (Must be able to pick up equipment and attend quarterly meetings at Bishop Ranch) Duration 2 years, 2 months on W2 contract Seeking a GIS Analyst with 5 7 years of experience in ArcGIS, geospatial analysis, and GIS database management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ortho-photointerpretation and change detection using LiDAR and ortho-derived building footprints
- Maintain, update, and QA/QC GIS databases
- Analyze and attribute structure footprints using client and public data sources
- Support data migration, digitization, and geospatial data management
- Develop workflow documentation and process improvement recommendations
- Reconcile and post edits to production databases Required Skills
- 5 7 years of GIS Analyst experience
- Strong experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online (AGOL), ArcSDE, and ESRI products
- Experience with LiDAR, orthophotography, and spatial analysis
- SQL and relational database experience (MS SQL Server)
- Knowledge of Python, VBA, or ArcObjects scripting
- Strong GIS data quality, QA/QC, and database management skills Preferred
- Experience supporting Class Location/HCA analysis
- Exposure to GIS application development (C#, ASP.NET, Adobe Flex, Silverlight)
Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is between $48.00-$55.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include [geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate].
