Experienced Overnight Customer Service Representative – Remote 3rd Shift Loan Approval and Customer Support

  • *Responsibilities and Duties** As an Overnight Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to assist customers with their loan applications and other financial queries
  • Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts, including loan applications, payment arrangements, and customer interactions
  • Using basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions
  • Communicating clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing
  • Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when speaking to customers, even in tense or high-pressure situations
  • Following written and/or verbal instructions, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Processing card payments accurately and efficiently
  • Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their loan applications through multiple software systems
  • Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loans and making recommendations accordingly
  • Following up with customers to clarify important points and ensure they understand their loan obligations
  • Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed about their loan rules and obligations
  • Staying up-to-date with lending and other financial services, including new products, policies, and procedures
  • Creating and renewing records, as needed
  • Identifying customer needs and exploring all available options to meet those needs
  • Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapting quickly to changing company needs
  • Multi-tasking by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously
  • Meeting monthly individual goals, as set by management
  • *Required Skills** To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our customers
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues
  • The ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, even in tense or high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency with technology, including computers, software applications, and phone systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use basic business math to solve problems
  • *Preferred Education and/or Experience** While a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, we prefer candidates with:
  • A degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or communications
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with cloud-based storage and internet applications
