Key Responsibilities:

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately entering and updating patient information into electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring the highest level of data integrity and accuracy.
  • Verifying and correcting data discrepancies to maintain the integrity of healthcare records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and precise data entry, providing exceptional support to our clients.
  • Managing sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations and industry standards.
  • Generating reports and providing data analysis to support healthcare operations, helping our clients make informed decisions.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of data entry procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher in healthcare, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in data entry, preferably within the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficiency in using EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations is a plus.
