Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Cloud AI Engineer to join our team as an Enterprise Customer Engineer. In this role, you'll work closely with our top clients to help them leverage AI accelerators within their overall cloud strategy. You'll assess big-scale AI opportunities, run benchmarks for current models, find opportunities to apply accelerators for new models, grow migration paths, and assist with research fees to optimize performance. Alongside this process, you'll collaborate with internal Cloud AI teams to remove roadblocks and shape the future of services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and assess big-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure

• Help clients leverage accelerators within their overall cloud strategy by running benchmarks for current models, finding opportunities to apply accelerators for new models, growing migration paths, and assisting with research fees to optimize performance
• Work closely with internal Cloud AI teams to remove roadblocks and shape the future of services
• Collaborate with clients to recommend migration paths, integration techniques, and application architectures that incorporate Google Cloud AI-optimized infrastructure
• Develop repeatable assets to enable other clients and internal teams
• Influence Google Cloud approach on the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML by advocating for client requirements
• Travel to client sites and events as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure
• Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models
• Experience delivering technical presentations while leading detailed discovery and planning sessions aligned with the client with defined scope and success metrics

Desired Qualifications:

* Experience with education and fine-tuning large models (i.e., image, language, segmentation, advice, genomics) with accelerators

• Experience running MLPerf benchmarks
• Experience with performance profiling tools (i.e., Tensorflow profiler, PyTorch profiler, Tensorboard)
• Experience with distributed training and optimizing performance versus cost
• Designing/architecting large-scale infrastructure farms for professional AI use cases
• Ability to interact with C-level or senior business leaders and influence decisions
