Work from home Full-time role Hiring

At careerzynith, we're dedicated to transforming the lives of people with cancer and their loved ones through our comprehensive network of support, information, resources, and professionals. Our mission is to reduce the burden on those impacted by cancer, especially in low-income and marginalized communities, by providing a safe space for emotional, psychological, social, and practical support. Led by social work principles and a commitment to social justice, we strive to empower individuals to take control of their health and care through access to resources and programs of support, education, well-being, and hope. We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team, working closely with the Director of Individual Giving to ensure accurate and timely entry of donor, volunteer, and organizational data into our Salesforce CRM. This role is critical to the success of our fundraising efforts, program operations, and strategic planning. If you're a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused individual with experience in Salesforce CRM management, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring data integrity and optimum efficiency of Salesforce by working closely with the Database Administrator/Analyst to implement best practices and quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintaining the integrity of electronic files for donors, prospects, members, and volunteers, including manual data entry, mass updates, and uploads.
  • Managing automated workflows and making recommendations to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of Salesforce.
  • Processing, recording, and acknowledging donations according to established protocols, including direct gifts, Facebook, and United Way donations.
  • Generating donor reports, maintaining donor lists for appeals, events, and other donor communications, and ensuring employee contributions and matches are processed in a timely manner.
  • Recording stock and other electronic contributions, communicating with donors and the organization's broker about stock transfers, and demonstrating exemplary customer service in all exchanges.
  • Providing support for grant research, submissions, tracking, and reporting, and collaborating with staff involved in volunteer management to ensure data is entered and coded properly.
  • Working with the accounting team to reconcile donations monthly and annually with QuickBooks, and performing other duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience using Salesforce NPSP or a similar constituent relationship management system, preferably within a non-profit organization.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, and experience with Constant Contact and Classy is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and effective verbal and written communication skills with good proofreading capability.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a high-performing team, handle confidential information with sensitivity, integrity, discretion, and accuracy, and exhibit an interest in learning.

What We Offer:

* A competitive salary range of $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.

  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) matching, dental insurance, flexible schedule, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
  • A hybrid remote work environment in Bedminster, NJ 07921, with opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and supportive team.

How to Apply:

If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data management and fundraising support, we encourage you to apply.
