Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of business intelligence and data-driven insights. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business growth. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving existing data systems, developing new data visualizations, and ensuring data quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

* Execute existing reporting and analytical obligations (30%)

• Use data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests (20%)
• Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating attention to detail (20%)
• Develop additional technical skills and domain expertise within the core functional team (20%)
• Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall plan (10%)

Direct Chief/Direct Reports

* This position reports to a Director

• This position has no Immediate Reports

Travel Requirements

* Normally requires less than 10% of the time for temporary travel

Physical Requirements

* Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, and there is frequent opportunity to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects.

Working Conditions

* Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be rare and not surprising.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Software Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or related field

• 3 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, evaluating, or potentially estimating
• Previous direct experience in investigating the significant topic (e.g., Store network, Marketing, Events, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

* Work experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or equivalent data set frameworks

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and technologies
