The Role

As a Customer Support Specialist on our Night Shift team, you'll be the face of careerzynith, providing top-notch support to our customers and resolving issues related to our Travel Products. You'll work closely with our customers, leveraging phone, chat, email, and video conferencing to help them optimize our Travel Product and achieve their goals. Your expertise will be invaluable in de-escalating and resolving issues, documenting product functionality, and training our Global Support Team members.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer support and resolve issues related to our Travel Products

  • Leverage phone, chat, email, and video conferencing to help customers optimize our Travel Product
  • De-escalate and resolve issues by leveraging platform and industry expertise
  • Document product functionality and country-specific nuances for training Global Support Team members
  • Become a product expert and serve as a go-to resource for customers and coworkers
  • Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share insights and drive automation or feature enhancements
  • Work well under time constraints and meet schedules, even with unexpected deadlines, to ensure customer needs are met

What You'll Need:

* Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work from 10pm-6am CT
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer/client-facing role
  • Experience working within the travel industry/products
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Organizational skills and experience improving processes
  • Flexibility with changing job duties and responsibilities
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize

Bonus Points:

* 3+ years of experience in TMC/BT Consultant Role covering all supplier products (air, rail, and hotel)

  • 2+ years of GDS experience (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) to intermediate level
  • IATA accreditation (WWAFT/WAII/BA2)

Work Environment and Company Culture

careerzynith highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. For office-based employees (employees who live within a 40-mile radius of an careerzynith office), we consider working in the office, at least three days a week under current policy, to be an essential function of the employee's role.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is:

  • 20 - 23 USD per hour (US Tier 2)
  • 19 - 22 USD per hour (US Tier 3)

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone's compensation, including professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above.
