The Role
As a Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems
- Dispatching emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies
- Providing world-class customer service to customers in their time of need
- Notifying customers of non-emergency signals
- Notifying account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch
- Receiving and processing inbound calls requesting information
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor alarm signals from customers' alarm systems and respond accordingly
- Dispatch emergency signals to relevant agencies, ensuring timely and effective response
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner
- Maintain accurate records of alarm signals, dispatches, and customer interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and effective resolution of customer issues
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
- Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states
- One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required
Nice-to-Haves
* Bilingual Spanish/English speakers (additional $1.00 per hour)
