Our client, a national organization dedicated to improving early childhood education, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Early Childhood Development Specialist to join their fully remote team. This role is vital in developing and implementing programs and resources that support the healthy growth and development of young children. You will conduct research, analyze trends in early childhood education, and contribute to the creation of evidence-based curricula and best practice guidelines. Your work will involve collaborating with educators, policymakers, and other stakeholders to advocate for and advance the field of early childhood development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in early childhood education, child development, or a related field, combined with practical experience in educational settings. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to make a significant impact from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for creating training materials, developing educational content, and providing expertise on various aspects of child development, including cognitive, social-emotional, and physical growth. Excellent communication, research, and project management skills are essential. You will play a key role in shaping initiatives that positively influence the lives of countless young children and their families. Key Responsibilities: Develop and curate educational resources and curriculum materials for early childhood educators and parents. Conduct research on best practices and emerging trends in early childhood development. Analyze data and create reports to inform program development and policy recommendations. Design and deliver virtual training sessions and workshops for early childhood professionals. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement program initiatives. Provide expert consultation on child development topics, including curriculum design and assessment. Stay abreast of relevant research, legislation, and policies affecting early childhood education. Contribute to the development of grant proposals and funding requests. Advocate for quality early learning experiences for all children. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, program development, or research. In-depth knowledge of child development theories, pedagogical approaches, and assessment methods. Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design. Strong research, analytical, and quantitative skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting complex information clearly. Proficiency in developing and delivering virtual training and presentations.
