Director, Rail & Transport Innovation Direct/Manage/Supervise the design, development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of technology infrastructure and systems capabilities to support the organization's business objectives. Lead the design, implementation, and management of security systems and redundant data backups. Ensure the development of cost-effective systems and operations to meet current and future requirements. Oversee the analysis of business problems and lead the evaluation, development, and recommendation of specific technology products and platforms to provide cost-effective solutions that meet business and technology requirements. Ensure design of best fit infrastructure, network, database, and/or security architectures. Guide configuration, debugging, and support for infrastructure and ensure all quality and change control standards are met. First-level director. Assists executives and/or senior directors in defining organizational goals and strategic plans. Extensive business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area.
