D365 Technical Architect

The primary purpose of the role of D365 Technical Architect is to support the internal delivery of D365 F&O and Retail throughout the business and being an integral part of the IT department. This role will play an essential role in developing the solutions that aids the business to maximize its value in D365 F&O and Retail. The Technical Architect will be part of a team that will roll out the solutions around different geographies (Asia/Europe/USA). The role is also responsible for

  • Support D365 F&O and POS applications and overcome challenges that could occur
  • Support of business operations such as BAU and continuous improvement
  • Developing solutions in F&O and POS
  • Application management within LCS, Azure DevOps, Azure and inside F&O
  • Deployment management within Azure DevOps, LCS
  • Perform version upgrades, deployment, assisting in managing technical aspects thereof
  • Provide technical assistance, design, review as part of solution design process
  • Collaboration with other technical teams such as Integrations and Reporting & Analytics

Main Accountabilities

  • Design and development of modifications or extensions for D365 F&O and POS to best

practices standards.

  • Coding, unit testing and creating supporting documentation where required.
  • Gain understanding of business needs and collaborates with implementation team

members to complete design and testing documentation.

  • Configure D365 F&O retail and commerce
  • Provide technical input into creating function specifications and creating technical design

specifications for modification or extensions.

  • Provide technical support for data migration, integration and supporting thereof.
  • Providing support and expertise in development technologies and environments.
  • Software Development Lifecycle expertise.

Performing “environment management”; building release packages, deploying, scheduling production deployments, supporting the business with queries around deployments, enabling management features, performance related queries and tasks

  • Providing key technical support for production system (BAU), raising support cases with

Microsoft via LCS or via our D365 Business Partner (vendor) and seeking areas for continuous improvement.

  • Developing and maintaining Azure DevOps Pipelines where related to D365 F&O and POS

and non-production environments. Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • At least 15+ years of experience in Dynamics AX, D365 F&O including POS and delivered end

to end implementations

  • 5+ years working experience in a relevant Industry or functional area e.g. Online, Retail,

Finance or Supply Chain

  • Excellent experience with X++, Morph X, C#, T-SQL
  • Good experience with Azure DevOps, LCS, Azure, AWS
  • Microsoft Sure Step implementation methodology
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
  • Microsoft Certifications
  • Fluency in English (speaking, writing)
