This role is responsible for conducting market analyses, assisting with job evaluations, supporting annual compensation cycles, and ensuring internal equity and adherence to compensation guidelines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. • Assist in the administration of compensation programs and processes, including base pay, incentive plans, and salary structures.
- Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analyses using compensation survey data.
- Support job evaluation activities, ensuring alignment with job architecture and organizational guidelines.
- Prepare compensation-related reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making.
- Maintain compensation data in HR systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Assist with the annual merit, bonus, and salary planning cycles.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal compensation policies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or related HR function.
- Experience with HRIS or compensation management systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with market pricing and compensation analysis methodologies.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or progress toward certification is preferred.
- No additional certifications required.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Analytical skills to interpret compensation data and market trends.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of compensation principles and best practices.
