Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via live chat, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues efficiently, escalating complex problems to senior agents or relevant departments when necessary.
  • Guide customers through troubleshooting steps and product features with clear and concise instructions.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering a positive and empathetic chat experience.
  • Document customer interactions accurately in the CRM system, ensuring detailed records are kept.
  • Identify and escalate recurring issues or trends to management for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to share knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

  • Excellent written communication skills in English, with strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Empathetic and patient approach when interacting with customers.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort with online communication tools.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as per business needs.
  • A quiet and dedicated workspace with a stable internet connection.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in a customer service role (even internships or volunteer work) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
